AACCUP holds Extension Survey Visit and Panel Interviews for Level One Accreditation

As the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) level one accreditation of the three programs namely, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) Major in Financial Management, Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT), and Master of Arts in Education (MAEd) Major in Education Management and Major in Kindergarten Education of Eastern Samar State University (ESSU ) Guiuan Campus proceeds, an extension site visit and panel interviews was virtually held with the Survey Teams on March 16, 2022.

The virtual extension survey visit of the accreditors was done through a video presentation held by each program. Aside from the virtual tour displayed in each video presentation, they also included clip of the programs interview with the beneficiaries of their extension activities in the site. After the video presentation, the accreditors asked a few question regarding the extension activities of the program and its role in community development.
In addition, MAEd had their extension site visit with their campaign for Sustainability Reduction Violence Environment (SERV) at Tubabao Isl. Guiuan, Eastern Samar. Meanwhile, the BSIT had their extension site visit on the different multimedia tools used to aid the teaching process such as Microsoft Office, ProShow and Photoshop Editing at Lupok Central School and at Cogon Elementary School teachers as their primary participants. On the other hand, the BSBA had their extension site visit at Barangay Sto. Nino, Guiuan, Eastern Samar and presented their extension activities including the PABIDA Project where their informative webinars were aligned.

Moreover, the session with the accreditors where they asked questions regarding the program processes resumed in the afternoon session. Each program invited few students, non-ESSU alumni, parents, faculty, some administrative staffs to be interviewed by the accreditors regarding the standing of the program in the accord of the quality of services provided to them as part of the stakeholders and clienteles of the university.
Finally, after hearing directly from the students, non-ESSU alumni, parents, faculty, and administrative staff, the accreditors concluded the panel interview and the virtual presentation of the extension activities and site tours of each program.
